The Bayanihan Spirit, Humanitarian Kindness, and Compassion for our Kababayans are Alive and Well in the Filipino American Community of Las Vegas!
Filipino American Community Leaders, led by Dr. Daniel Fabito, President of Philippine American Association of Nevada, met at Cafe De Manila to organize a Joint Fundraising Project to benefit the victims of Super Typhoon Rolly in the Bicol Region of the Philippines.
A day after Super Typhoon Rolly pummeled the Bicol region, the Department of Energy (DOE) reported that consumers in the severely battered provinces of Albay, Camarines Norte, Camarines Sur, Sorsogon, and Catanduanes are still agonizing from total blackouts.
