Maria Peralta NaFFAA youth leader spearheads the Arangkada Trunk or Treat event.

NaFFAA Youth Committee will be holding a drive thru trunk called ARANGKADA Trunk or Treat.  “Arangkada,” is a slang Filipino word which means a vehicle is about to accelerate. This is another event that NYC will be practicing their leadership skills, next step ahead in accelerating their knowledge, skills, and passion to their heritage by giving back to the community.    We are blessed to have Ms Leilani Bernardo of AllState Insurance on board, with the best effort of Ms Katrina; we will be holding the event at her office’s parking lot. We all are in a not so good situation right now, and NYC wishes to contribute some fun and safe activity especially to our Filipino families.  We aim to have Filipino small businesses and/or organizations  to participate through either having to set up their own trunk or donate halloween goodies or other essentials; in return they may insert their business cards to promote their business and/or organization.

We are inviting you to participate in this year’s Trunk or Treat that will be taking place Friday, October 30th from 6:00-8:00 pm.  The event is for RSVP only, we ask you to share and invite the public by going to www.tinyurl.com/arangkadarsvp. We also have a COVID plan response in place.
