Modest, friendly and unassuming, Dennis is quickly becoming quite the legend in the musical  scene around Nevada. He’d greet everyone in the room and as he starts setting up, he’d joke  with the production team, and you’d never know how talented he is until he takes his place on  the keyboards and shines on the spotlight. The show starts and a big “key” to its success is  definitely the man on the keyboards! And that’s when you’d realize that you’ve never met a  musician as talented and versatile as the one and only Dennis Raymund G. Quila! He’s quickly  gaining ground here in Nevada, but first let us take a look back at how he was quite the “Thrilla” back in Manila…

  • Starting way, way back in 1995, his career catapulted after being recognize for his role as the musical arranger of “Nakita ko ang Langit,” by Chad Borja, the song awarded  as Grand Champion in the first National Dasal Awit Songwriting Contest by the GMA  Supershow Channel 7.
  • In October 3, 1999 he was then awarded the gold record album producer for the original  motion picture soundtrack, “Hey Babe,” by musical group, Jeremiah. He received this distinction on national TV, at a popular Sunday musical variety program known as  “ASAP.”

  • Dennis became a finalist to the 13th Awit Awards for the Best Musical Arranger category  for yet another Jeremiah hit song entitled “Nanghihinayang,” in the year 2000.
  • Two years after that, in 2002, he then reaped the honor of 15th Awit Awards finalist as  Best Musical Arranger for another hit song by Aiza Seguerra, entitled, “Pagdating ng  Panahon.”

Apart from the abovementioned accolades, Dennis is also the musical arranger for the following  OPM (Original Pinoy Music) hits:

  • “Only Me & You” by Donna Cruz; “Wala Na Bang Pag-ibig” by Jaya, “Pasulyap-Sulyap,”  “Kaba” and “Nang Dahil Sa Pag-ibig” popularized by Tootsie Guevarra; “Ika’y Mahal Pa  Rin,” by Rockstar 2; “You Don’t Have To Say You Love Me” by Lani Misalucha who  frequently performs in Las Vegas.
  • Furthermore, Dennis was also the arranger for Geneva Cruz’s “Hindi Ko Kaya,” Jeremiah  group songs: “Nanghihinayang,” “Basta’t Ikaw,” and “Oh Babe.”
  • There’s also hits for the ladies such as “Tameme,” and “Sana’y Kapiling Ka” by Jolina  Magdangal, “Muli” by Vina Morales, “Pa’no Kaya,” and ‘Di Ba’t Ikaw” by Jessa Zaragosa,  “Only Selfless Love” by Karylle and Jed Madela, “Muntik Na Kitang Minahal” by Carol  Banawa, “Ganyan Talaga” by Janella Salvador and “Awit Sa Ina Ng Sto. Rosario” and  “Disyembre Na Naman” (now known as “Ber Months Na Naman”) sung by Jamie Rivera  which just currently released by Star Records and is played in radios around the  Philippines.
  • Dennis had also served as the musical director for various TV shows, movies, albums,  live productions, seasonal gigs, concerts and many other exciting and indubitably successful projects!

And now in Las Vegas, Nevada, where he has been residing for a little over two years already,  he has been making waves and sweeter sound waves through live musical shows as he  gradually penetrates the recording industry. So far, he has played with different bands and also serve as the official keyboard session lead for productions in happening venues like Siena Italian Authentic Trattoria & Deli, Anggara Spice Grill and Gimik Republik, along with some shows  at the Mandalay Bay. He attributes his start and his present success to Born Famous Productions,  founded by another Filipino American musical pride in the making, Ms. Sharon Tanyag who is  also known in the USA as the one and only National Anthem Diva!

Dennis is a pioneer member of WAVE (We Are Vegas), a union of the most talented Filipi no-American musical artists in the Las Vegas musical scene. Furthermore, he has also been part  of the recently concluded JPD Milestone Realty Vocal Championships, serving as resident pianist,  judge and musical arranger. He is currently working on a recording project as producer and  musical arranger for a musical group and album which will be released worldwide, especially in  the USA and in the Philippines. He also finds the time to teach piano and guitar lessons for  students both in-person and online. Finally, Dennis also makes time to give thanks and praise to  God by devoting time to Him during Sundays and even playing the piano for the music ministry  of Lord of Harvest Church. Indeed, the future looks very bright for the amazing Dennis Quila, truly  a gem of an artist and pride of the Philippines, now set to conquer the global stage, starting here  in the United States of America!
